Jake

Hi everyone!

Let's get right to it.  I'm a senior here at the mighty "The Johns Hopkins University."  This semester I'm making a movie.  And it's kind of long.  Like "how am I possibly going to pull this off" long.  But luckily with the aid of something called the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship, I have (in my modest student filmmaker mindset) a rather large budget.  Emphasis on the rather.  Plus I have a prominent group of indviduals who will be really dissappointed in me if I fail.  So that always helps.

My presence on this blog is going to consist primarily of an ongoing account of my creative process.  It's sure to be a bumpy ride, but that should be part of the fun, right.  Right???

But seriously, as more of the pieces of this project are beginning to fit together, the more excited I'm becoming.  I hope some of that excitement becomes contagious.

Cheers,

Jake Appet

P.S.

The following  is a link to a personal blog I run with my dear friend and Hopkins Alum Ian White.  The page consists of selected artistic works produced by myself and Ian.

In this specific instance, and in general, enjoy!
