I really like that question that student filmmakers should ask - what kind of filmmaker am I and what am I interested in? I know I have definitely made mistakes in the past with choosing what film I am going to make with out first taking that into consideration, and I have chosen projects that I had little confidence in and got bored with. If only I had sat down and thought, "Actually, I'm interested in x!"

Also, it sounds terrible that you have to deal with that kind of attitude on set. Production is hard enough without having to deal with more time constraints and divas.
